I've been to Revive several times, so this last trip was disappointing. The salon is under renovation, which is fine, but was not disclosed at the time of booking. I would have changed my service knowing that the pedicure experience would not be what it normally is. At the end of the day, it was a fine experience until my nails started chipping and peeling just over a week after getting a no-chip manicure. Disappointing experience and I canceled my next visit.

Revive is a hidden gem in wicker! My nail technician Draya is AMAZING. She is a perfectionist when it comes to nails - she takes so much effort to give a perfect shape. My natural nails are strong and that’s a first for me getting sets. Also she can work off any reference photo. I’ve gone to her 3 times now and am a loyal customer. Not only is she professional and great at her job but she has such a kind energy. Love Revive for dip and gel x. Thank you Draya ♥️

holy zen heaven! 💅🏾🌱 you walk in that front door and step into a true space for peace and pampering. it’s palpable. i historically avoided getting my nails done with extensions + acrylics cuz it always damages my nails so i never feel inspired to get back to the salon and keep up the ruse. with your average nail salon you just live in the illusion forever; always getting fill-ins and adding more acrylic while your real nails are weak and peeling. Revive has transformed my whole experience of nail care + manicures! the dipping powder is such quick, clean, effortless glam, and actually protects my natural nails and promotes growth! Jacinda is a wonderful and thorough manicurist; i love my medium extension nails with oval rounded tips. i found out the bright pink fun color i chose is called Broadway 🎭 and Tiffany gave me a glorious pedicure with my classic white toes, and it was so great to relax in the space and have my feet rubbed. I literally drove an hour 15 from the west suburbs for this appointment in THIS place… and it is beyond worth it. go Revive your life now! 🌱💅🏾

I've been coming to Revive since they opened. I think it's been over 10 years now? It's always been my favorite salon so I'm sad to write this. Recently, I kept on having negative experience after negative experience--a gel manicure that chipped in less than 7 days, a sloppy french dip manicure where powder was being blown all over my face and hair and I ended up having poor results, and then a sloppy no chip pedicure. And finally, my most recent experience made me decide I'm done coming here. I recently decided to start treating myself to a manicure and discovered dip. Through trial and error with other nail techs, I decided to work with Vanessa. She's incredibly talented and works very quickly but she really really wants you to come in every 3 weeks. As someone who used to work in the service industry, I get it. We all need to make money. But I don't have that kind of money and this is a treat for me. Anyways, I asked for a french manicure with clear dip (she had done it before) as it disguises the growth but she decided to do opaque instead. You can see the nail growth that way. It's more obvious that your nails aren't done as you get to week 3 and 4. I figured it was an oversight and the next month I asked for clear polish for my french manicure. Well not only did she ignore me again and used opaque dip (again) but she only partially removed the original layer of polish so you can clearly see it. So I have these rings on my nails making growth even more apparent. Then when I tried re-booking with Vanessa I felt like she was manipulating her schedule by only presenting me with the worst available time (was it one available time slot at 3:45pm on a Saturday? or I could book with her 3 weeks out instead?) so that I would be forced to come in 3 weeks. I told her I definitely can't come that often so I took the bad slot. Granted, she does get booked out but I felt her annoyance that I wouldn't book with her 3 weeks later so, out of curiosity, I called in the next day to see what her availability was. Strangely my appointment wasn't even on the books and she had some earlier, better slots available. The person I spoke with told me that she's heard of two other appointments disappearing from the system before but said it had something to do with their software. Hmmmmm... Well tomorrow I have another appointment and I called to make sure I was still on the books. Lo and behold--my appointment had been pushed out again to a later time to make room for Vanessa's other appointments. (I have a confirmation text for the original time so I know I'm not mistaken) Granted it was only 15 minutes later but I would think I deserve a call at the very least. Exasperated I just went ahead and cancelled. Now I'm in search for a new manicurist. I'm just shocked by all of this because I actually over tipped her. I think Vanessa is probably the best nail tech at Revive so I think she feels comfortable doing as she pleases because she books out. She's also the manager I think? Or perhaps this was a perfect storm? Failed software meets poor service? Either way, I just don't feel comfortable giving her/Revive my money anymore. But yeah--my experience at Revive has not been the best lately.

The only reason im making a bad review is not because of my wonderful nail tech but because of the new booking system that is used. I had an appt for 11 am and the new system did not have me in the system. Im going out of the country and wanted my nails done. And couldn't get them done because Suzie( the best) wasnt there. Now I have to come a different day after I have worked all night. Not cool at all. Faithful client for a least a couple of years now. 👎🏻
